Christopher Mahon was born Pennsylvania and grew up in Michigan. He now lives in Los Angeles. He has worked as a book editor for legal and educational publishers and as a high school English teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District. He has published fiction, journalism, essays, and poetry in a number of magazines and newspapers, including The Chrysalis Review; The Jessamyn West Review; Litbreak Magazine; The Merton Seasonal; War, Literature & the Arts; Education News; The (San Diego) North County Times; and The San Jose Mercury News. He is also a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.
